Reservoir Engineeer
Location: UK
Ref No: J8737
Description:
Starting ASAP for 4 - 6 month assignment.
Experience requirements
- Has modelled (Eclipse E100) and history matched oil reservoirs with underlying aquifer, gas cap(s) and pressure support by water injection (at flanks/end of channel rather than "5 spot"). If possible candidate has worked on analogous fields - homogenous, massive (100 ft thick oil leg) high quality sand reservoirs and poorer quality, interbedded thin beds (6 ft to 30ft).
- Experience of prevention of gas coning, minimising water coning, controlling wells to maximise effectiveness of pressure support from water injection and managing off take to maximise ultimate recovery.
- Successfully forecast production for analogous fields.
- Able to match GOR (gas oil ratio), Water-cut by sensible adjustment of relative permeability curves.
- Able to model the correct voidage ratio for water injection re BHP history match and also realistic reservoir pressure in prediction.
- Built models from scratch, with the starting point a geomodel (Eclipse GRDECL grid and properties) provided by the geologist. (PVT and SCAL are known) and has worked collaboratively in a subsurface team to refine models.
